Due to the lack of a single standard of connectors for charging electric cars in the world, electric cars manufactured in China are equipped with a GB/T charging port (Chinese state standard), which is not used in European charging stations, which in the conditions of poorly developed infrastructure in Ukraine is a problem for drivers. A simple solution to the charging problem is an adapter with a CHAdeMO connector (a standard developed by the Japanese company TEPCO (Tokyo Power Company)). CHAdeMO – 2-pin connector for fast direct-current charging, supported by car concerns: Nissan, Mitsubishi. Subaru and Toyota, European: Kia Soul EV, Nissan Leaf, Citroen Berlingo, Daimler Smart ED. Mercedes B250E, the European version of the old Tesla Model S.

For drivers who have purchased Chinese-made electric vehicles equipped with a GB/T fast charging port, our company has installed several CHAdeMO to GB/T adapters equipped with a GB/T connector. Drivers will be able to charge them at fast charging stations located at 93 Vyacheslava Chornovola Avenue (near the “ARSEN” supermarket) and in the village of Sokilniki of the Pustomytiv district on the street Stryiska, 30 (in the underground parking lot of the “King Cross Leopolis” shopping and entertainment complex (second location).

The adapter is compatible with single-phase and three-phase electric cars: BYD HAN, Tang, BAIC EU 5, Volkswagen ID.5, ID.6, e-bora Xpeng P5, Honda mnv, nissan sylphy, CHERY TIGGO, AUDI E-TRON Q2L and other electric cars with China.

Not compatible with electric vehicles: Volkswagen ID.3 & ID.4 – old firmware, in which the software that controls various aspects of the vehicle system, including electronic control systems, functionality, and other parameters has not been updated to the latest version.
